🧠 Fun Fact: The Eiffel Tower can grow over 6 inches taller in the summer! That’s because the metal expands in the heat—proof that even icons need room to stretch. Maybe this fun fact will help her win this week’s reader poll 👀. I visited the Eiffel Tower in 2023 and was shocked because it was way bigger than I thought it was going to be.

👨‍💼 Mayor’s Minute Update Week of 5/26: The Mayor talked about the Memorial Day event attended by city officials and wanted us to think about those who served our country and sacrificed their lives (video is on the city’s facebook page which you can watch), Wed County Commissioner Steve Geller held a town hall at City Hall. 🐈‍⬛ There is a kitty at Plantation Fire Dept Station #2 (550 NW 65th Ave) and she's super friendly. She may or may not have an owner. She is Vaccinated & Negative for feline Aids. The Fire Dept is trying to find her a good home or return her to her owner. She’s around 1-2 years old. Does anyone recognize this cat? Reply to this email if you’re interested in adopting her. 🙏
