🧠 Fun Fact: The Eiffel Tower can grow over 6 inches taller in the summer! That’s because the metal expands in the heat—proof that even icons need room to stretch. Maybe this fun fact will help her win this week’s reader poll 👀. I visited the Eiffel Tower in 2023 and was shocked because it was way bigger than I thought it was going to be.

✏️ Plantation Park Elementary The Plantation Police Department and the GFWC Plantation Woman's Club presented the BIKE (Be Intelligent Kind and Enthusiastic) student awardees a new bicycle, helmet, and bike lock. These students met the academic criteria and the required character development, and attitude to earn this special award 🚲 It was great to be there to cheer for these students! 👏 Councilmember Louis Reinstein was also in attendance. Thanks for supporting the kids!

We are so proud of all the winners! Great job kids!!!!

🍴 Jacaranda Pizza stands as a true gem. A family-run pizzeria that has delighted our community since 1978. Owned and operated by Nick and his family, Jacaranda Pizza brings the warmth and authenticity of Italy straight to your table.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine hospitality and the comforting aroma of dough baking in the oven. Every pizza, calzone, and pasta dish is crafted with care, using time-honored recipes and the freshest ingredients. The crusts come out perfectly crisp, the cheese melts just right, and each bite bursts with authentic Italian flavor. Whether you order a classic Margherita, a hearty meat lover’s pie, or one of their specialty pizzas, you’ll taste the tradition in every slice.
But Jacaranda Pizza offers more than just pizza. Their menu features a tempting selection of Italian favorites—think baked ziti, chicken parmigiana, homemade lasagna, and fresh salads. Each dish is cooked to perfection, capturing the essence of home-style Italian cooking.
What truly sets Jacaranda Pizza apart is the family atmosphere. Nick and his team treat every guest like part of the family, making you feel right at home. With nearly five decades of service, their commitment to quality and community shines through in every meal. This review is very personal for me as I’ve been eating here for as long as I can remember. When I was a student at Nova High School, every Fri night we used to convene here for pizza and sodas. ❤️
Dining at Jacaranda Pizza feels like a trip back to Italy—authentic, delicious, and always memorable. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, you’ll leave planning your next visit. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Italian flavor and a welcoming, family-run experience! They also offer fast and friendly take out as well.
