🚨 Life Saving Award: Plantation Police Officer Cole Barfield. Amazing work!
Plantation Fire Crews Honored at City Council Meeting Last night the Mayor & Council recognized the crews that were on scene on November 26, 2023 when Samantha Thomson was involved in a very serious vehicle accident on Pine Island Road and Gatehouse Road.
Crews extricated her from her vehicle and transported her to Broward Health Hospital.
Though the prognosis was grim, Samantha fought hard! The crews received a Meritorious Service Award for their efforts, but most important, they had the chance to see the fruits of their labor.
Samantha, her mother, brothers, family and friends were extremely grateful to the rescuers there that night. Thank you Plantation Fire Dept for a job well done.
⚽️ Ft. Lauderdale United Pro Women’s Soccer is back for the 25/26 season! They were runners up last year in the Championship game. Maybe this will be their year! Opener is vs Lexington SC on 8/23 at 7:30p at the Beyond Bancard Field at NSU in Davie.

⛳️ Golf Brings Friends Together Tiger Woods iconic chip on 16 at the 2005 Masters.
This is probably the greatest shot in golf history. The unsung hero in this story are the cameramen: Bob Wishnney. He zoomed in on the ball, which is a shot I’ve rarely ever seen watching golf on tv for many years.
He couldn’t have known that Nike logo was going to be there, but he punched in with some massive zoom anyway. Total brilliance.
Then the 2nd angle camera person who followed the ball to the hole then quickly panned to Tiger to get his reaction.
Who were these 2 people? Golf fans should know their names. True professionalism and creative genius. These 2 need to put on a masterclass about filming sports. A memorable moment for all time in golf history.
This might be the greatest shot of all time. Both the golf shot and the filming of the shot!
