Marian’s Bagels in Plantation is a true local gem. Their bagels are some of the best in South Florida. They’re expanding and opeing their own bagel factory! Their bagels are perfectly chewy inside with just the right crunch outside.

Pair one with their rich cream cheese or classic lox spread, and you’ll understand why regulars keep coming back. The menu goes far beyond bagels, offering hearty omelettes, sandwiches, and even challah French toast.

With a warm, friendly staff and a relaxed diner feel, Marian’s delivers both incredible food and a welcoming atmosphere. Simply put, it’s a must-visit for breakfast or brunch. It is one of my favorite spots in town. If you have never been there you MUST check them out.

👨 Mayor’s Minute Update with Nick Sortal week of September 1st.

🍽️ Where in the World is Dr. Bob He is in Disney World this week enjoying the 2025 Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT. His favorite item is the carrot cake and pumpkin spice beer in the Muppets Lab building where the wings are. If you’re an EPCOT’er, you know exactly where that is.

I was in EPCOT this weekend also and the Food Fest is the best event at Disney World. If you have never been you MUST check it out. They also have free concerts. I was there to check out the Joey Fatone & Friends show. It was fantastic. His musical director is a good friend and his keyboard player.

Also, Dr. Bob is singing the national anthem at Mission BBQ Davie for their 9/11 Noon ceremony.
